Recently climbed up to the top of the tennis world, world no.1 Novak Djokovic from Serbia plays the quarterfinal of the Barclays World Tour Finals against world no.6 Tomas Berdych from Czech Republic Friday afternoon today.

Djokovic dos not want to miss the train this time and wants to end the season ending chapionship as its champion. His resolve was seen when he beat his rival British Andy Murray despite losing the first set  4-6, 6-3, 7-5 this Wednesday. Andy really hurt Djokovic by clinching the US Open title from the Serbian recently.

Tomas Berdych, who lost his opening match against against Murray, beat Tsonga 7-5, 3-6, 6-1 to face Djokovic Friday today. It would be the utmost endeavour of Berdych to ditch Djokovic to end up in the last four.

Both Djokovic and Berdych have met eleven times before today's encounter since they forst met at Bangkok in 2008 and Berdych has had only one winner at Wimbledon in 2010. Although Djokovic is favourite for to reach the finals, it remains to be seen whether Berdych can upset the Serbian today or not.

The match is scheduled for Friday, 9 November 2012 at 13:45 GMT at O2 Arena, London.
