For Sri Lanka, it should be a rare chance to win its first T20 World Cup and end its cup drought since the the championshaip began.
But for India it is also a rare chance to win the cup for the second time and become the first country to have bagged the cup twice. India will become the first team to hold all three major limited-overs titles, having won the 50-over World Cup in 2011 and the Champions Trophy last year.
So both sides are equally interested in winning - both for pride and the cup.
