Vettel may lose world title for alleged illegal overtake

Celebrated champion Sebastian Vettel's world title is in doubt as Ferrari are considering an appeal to the FIA over what may have been an illegal manoeuvre by the Red Bull driver in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.

Vettel fastest in second practice at F1 Indian GP

Sebastian Vettel showed he has the pace to win a fourth straight Formula One race and pad his thin championship lead by setting the fastest time in Friday’s practices for the Indian Grand Prix.
Vettel headed a Red Bull one-two in the second practice, with teammate Mark Webber a tenth of a second behind.

This year's race has become a major political controversy, with human rights campaigners and many Western politicians insisting it should not take place -- and, on the other hand, the Bahrain government saying its staging is a vital part of the kingdom's reform process, with motorsport bosses happy to be back at the Sakhir circuit.
