An important third round match at ATP Rome is being played today between 5th ranked French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and 9th ranked Argentinian Juan Martin Del Potro Thursday afternoon.

Del Potro has moved to the third by beating M. Youzhny 6-4 6-2, while Tsonga beat V. Troicki 6-3 6-2.
Del Potro has a rather clean sheet of 9-1 of the last ten matches played, while Tsonga has a stained record of 5-5. Tsonga last lost to A. Dolgopolov 7-5 3-6 7-6(2) at Madrid.
Both Potro and Tsonga have across six times in their career since 2007 and the Argentinian has a 5-1 lead over the French.
Going by the win-loss edge and the form both palyers are at the moment, it can be safely predicted that Del Potro will have a winning edge over the French in Thursday evening's match.
