Federer plays Youzhny in ATP Halle Semi Finals: Watch Live Online Free Streaming - Saturday 16 June

Friday saw exit of Nadal from AT Halle and smooth sailing of world No.3 Swiss Roger Federer into the championship when he he beat fifth seed Canadian Milos Raonic  6-7(4), 6-4, 7-6(3) to reach the Halle semi-finals.

Like Nadal who eyed the Roland Garros for the record seventh time, Federer is looking forward to win the ATP Halle / Gerry Weber Open for the sixth time. Federer has had a good year of lifting tropheies, albeit no Grand Slam, at  Rotterdam (d. del Potro), Dubai (d. Murray), Indian Wells (d. Isner) and Madrid (d. Berdych).

Federer finds it easier on grass rather than clay, which he was subjected to on last so many matches and championships where he could no click.

Federer has met Russian Mikhail Youzhny 13 times since they first met at ATP Stockholm in 2000 and has a clear winning edge of 13-0 over the Russian. They last met at ATP Dubai earlier this year when Federer won 6-3, 6-4.

Mikhail Youzhny has won all of his last three matches on grass at Halle and he beat R. Stepanek 6-4 4-6 6-4 to reach the semis to face Federer.
