The New York Public Library has a treasure of old books and photographs that can now be termed as relics of the past.
Recently the Business Insider has 'unearhted' some of the unique and historic photos of base ball players that may mesmerize those who love baseball. One may have had heard names of some of the legendary baseball players - but may not have seen their photos.

Now for the frist time, we have a chance to see these players now obscured in the archives. And let me tell you it is mesmerizing to see photos of Deacon McGuire of the Philadelphia Quakers, Tommy McCarthy of the Boston Reds, Ed Andrews (1884-1891), The The Knickerbocker and Excelsior baseball clubs in 1858, Harry Lyons with Billy Tailer Trainer (1887-1893) and many more.
