Oh what a match it was - the 14th ranked Serbian Ana Ivanovic seemed no match against the former world no.1 and now world no.2 Belorussian Victoria Azarenka who thrashed ivanovic 6-1, 6-0.
While the first was also simply one sided, the second set saw helpless Ivanovic ending up her most of the returns in the net or out of the court. The 6-0 in the second was not the game what Ivanovic had presented earlier.
Azarenka advances to the quarter-final of to meet Tamira Paszek.
In an other fourth round match defending champion and No.4 seed Petra Kvitova defeated Francesca Schiavone 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 to enter the quarter-final of Wimbledon 2012 to meet 6th ranked American Serena Williams.
