Djokovic wins his second Wimbledon title

In one of the five sets long Wimbledon final since 2009 between Federer and Roddick, Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat seven time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer of Switzerland in a well contested match at the Centre Court that just ended minutes from now.

Djokovic won his second Wimbledon title beating Federer 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 5-7 6-4

The match could have ended either way, but in the last games, Federer made fatal errors that went to the credit of Djokovic. Had Federer won, he would have surpassed Pete Sampras' seven wins today.

Petra Kvitová is 2014 Wimbledon champion

It was her day today despite many expecting the day to go to the Canadian Bouchard. But Petra Kvitová simply thrashed her 20 years old opponent in just 55 minutes to win her second Wimbledon title after 2011.

Petra Kvitová beat Canadian Eugenie Bouchard 6-3, 6-0 and dashed any of her hopes to become first Canadian to lift the coveted Rosewater Dish today.

For 24 years old Czech, the title is more than second Wimbledon title – she also becomes the 24^th women tennis player of modern era to have multiple Grand Slam titles to her credit. She also moves her up to 4^th position in WTA ranking.

What could be more accomplishing for someone when one becomes a champion at the age of THREE!!

Well yes, there is a boy who becomes a champion at the age of three while countless children ofhis age are still stuggling to stand on their feet.

Britain's Harry Edwards-Brady at the age of three who has already won an impressive four best rider titles at local shows will be watched by thousands of people when he takes to the stage at this year’s Horse of the Year Show (HOYS).

And what is more - he only began riding earlier this year but is already well on his way to becoming an expert rider.

Judges at the Royal Norfolk Show awarded him 48 out of 50 marks for his performance atop four-year-old Dartmoor pony Divine.

He is not stopping here. Harry is hoping to become one of the youngest ever winners when he makes his national début at Birmingham NEC.

Amir Atlas of Pakistan wins Asian Squash Title

Pakistan’s Aamir Atlas Khan beat Kuwait’s Abdullah Al Mezayan in three sets to become the first Pakistani to bring an end to the Asian title drought in 14 years to win the Asian Squash Championship on Sunday at the Islamabad Sport Complex.

Khan won over Al Mezayan after an impressive performance with figures of 11-9, 11-3, 11-8.

In the women’s final, Hong Kong’s Annie Au beat Malaysia’s Low Wee Wern 5-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-1.
