The visiting West Indians play their first ODI against hosts Bangladesh at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, Khulna Friday 30 November today a short while from now.
The two test played against the visitors had been very tough for the hosts, who now look forward to playing ODI format with which the ind themselves at ease, having lost both the tests to the West Indians. However, in the absence of their best bowler Shakib away for injury, they may find their bowling severely handicapped.
The feature of today's match is the implementation of the new fielding restrictions that allow only four men outside the 30-yard circle during non-Powerplay overs. Their spinners will have to cope quickly with the reduced protection in the boundary.
