The final phase of the 100th edition of the famous Tour de France cycling competition enters the final stage as cyclists race from Versailles to Paris Champs Élysées Sunday today.
Britain's Kenyan-born Froome’s third-place finish Friday gives him a 5min 3secs advantage in the 100th edition of the sport’s most famous race, and he simply needs to avoid an accident during today’s procession from Versailles to the Champs-Elysees to claim the trophy.
Like Britain's Andy became the first British tennis player to win the Wimbledon tennis after 77 years, Christopher Froome will become the second British cyclist to win the tour in 99 years after Bradley Wiggins's victory last year.
