Nadal is 'in' for the Wimbledon Title race too

Just when the world no.1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic is preparing to eneter the Centre Court Monday today to embark upon a two week long journey to defend his title this year, there are others too heading the same direction.

Three men - one trophy: Who will lift it? Carry on watching Wimbledon live everyday at Movin' Sports
World no.3 Swiss Roger Federer, who failed to win at Halle for the record sixth time, now eyes the Wimbledon trophy for the seventh time and become the third man in the history to do so. But aging Federer is among much younger hawks and would find it difficult to avoid their young and sharpened clutches. Yes I am talking of Djokovic aged 25 and Rafael Nadal aged 26.

Rafael Nadal, world.2 and recently crowned at Roland Garros, beating Djokovic and lifting the silverware for the record seventh time, breaking the previous record by Bjorn Borg, is in his best form and energetic enough to reach the final and challenge Djokovic's dominance.

Humble as he always is, Nadal has so far shown no desire to compete the grass court champions. "I`m very happy the way things went the last couple of months," he said. "But thinking about winning another title here in Wimbledon is arrogant and crazy. That`s something I cannot think about, no?"

But that is just a humble gesture - obviously if he is here at Wimbledon, he is here to win. Something that every tennis player cherishes.

With a Grand Slam already bagged, he may start dreaming of collecting the remaining three Grand Slams and become the third man in history - a dream which he shattered for Djokovic at Roland Garros.

Mallorca vs. Real Madrid: Watch Live Online Free Streaming

Sunday tonight is a big day for the Real Madrid - for they would finally lay their hands on the La Liga trophy after their wait of four years since 2007-08 at the Bernabeu.

In fact till the match ends, the pleasure of holding the silverware will be on their minds - and would therefore be the driving force behind each Red player to put in their best so that fans even on the other side of the fence hail them as the true deservers.

It is not for certain till now, which teams the Red's manager is going to field: Will the best XI go down the arena to savour the joy of winning the trophy or will a chance be given to those who have toiled hard in training awaiting their opportunities.

Even though Madrid don't have much to play for, it is not the same for Mallorca, who are just one point behind sixth-place Levante and fifth-place Atletico Madrid for the final two Europa League spots.

Mallorca's Probable Starting Lineup (4-5-1): Dudu Aouate(GK); Ivan Ramis, Chico, Pedro Bigas, Martí Crespí; Tomás Pina, Jose Luis Marti, Alfaro, Gonzalo Castro, Pereira; Víctor Casadesús

Real Madrid Probable Starting Lineup (4-2-3-1): Casillas; Arbeloa, Albiol, Varane, Coentrão; Alonso, Granero; Callejon, Kaka, Ronaldo; Higuain

The trophy lifting match is being played at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Sunday May 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 18:00 GMT

UEFA: Suspended Chelsea Captain Terry may lift Trophy

Suspended Chelsea captain John Terry would be allowed to lift the Champions League trophy if his side defeat Bayern Munich in the final on 19 May, UEFA has confirmed to BBC Sport.
Terry is banned after being sent off for violent conduct in the semi-final second leg against Barcelona.
UEFA's rules only prevent suspended players from sitting on the bench. The governing body also said it will not change its rules to let six other suspended players feature.
It means Terry will have to watch the final from the stands, along with Raul Meireles, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic, all of whom are banned after being booked against Barcelona.
