In the first match of the championship today, British top seed and world no.3 Andy Murray takes on 9th seed Serbian Janko Tipsarevic Thursday night today.

Both Murray and Tipsarevic played against each other eight times before since they first met at London in 2006 and Murray has a winning edge over the Serbian 5-3. They last met at Miami this year when Murray beat Tipsarevi 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarters.

It may be added here that Serbian is taking part in Mubadala World Tennis Championship on Djokovic’s recommendation.

For the first time in the tournament’s history, action will start at the later time of 5 PM (local time) on Thursday to suit fans of Murray coming straight from work.

The Mubadala World Tennis Championship match between Murray and Tipsarevic is scheduled for Thursday, 27 December 2012 at 13:00 GMT  / 17:00 Local Time at Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi.

Ferrer - Tipsarevic: Watch Live Free Streaming | Barclays World Tour Finals [Day-6] - 10 November

5th ranked Spaniard David Ferrer plays the last Round Robin match of the Barclays World Tour Finals against 9th ranked Serbian Janko Tipsarevic Saturday evening at O2 Arena, London.

His eyes set on the semis of the World Tours, Ferrer would like to hunt down the Serbian in Saturday evening's match - his fifth against Tipsarevic, with a 3-1 winning edge.

Ferrer and Tipsarevic when last met at the quarterfinals of the US Open this year, they played a superb match spanning over five sets, which Ferrer finally won 6-3, 6-7(5), 2-6, 6-3, 7-6(4).

Tipsarevic, who has already lost to Federer and Del Potro in the first two matches of the on going championship, will be putting in his best to end the season on a positive note as his present form of 9-8 would be really disappointing for him.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, 10 November 2012 at 19:45 GMT at O2 Arena, London.

Del Potro vs Tipsarevic: Watch Live Free Streaming | ATP World Tour Finals [Day-4]- 8 November

The second  match of the Round Robin on Day-4 of Group B is being played between world no.7 Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina and world no.9 Serbian Janko Tipsarevic Thursday afternoon today.

Both players have yet to score any points on the points table as they have lost their first matches so far.

In their first matches, Federer beat Tipsarevic 6-3, 6-1, while Ferrer beat Potro 6-3, 3-6,6-4.

This will be the fourth encounter of the Serbian and the Argentinian, with Potro have a clear 3-0 winning edge over Tipsarevic since they first met at Miami 2009.

Of the last ten matches played, Potro has lost twice, but Tipsarevic has lost five of his last ten matches. The stats and previous encounters' results put the Serbian in a disadvantagous position vis a vis the Argentinian, unless he intends surprising Potro this afternoon.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, 8 November 2012 at 19:45 GMT at O2 Arena, London.

Watch Live Federer vs Tipsarevic Free Streaming | ATP World Tours Finals [Day-2]- 6 November

The day-1 of the ATP World Tour Finals ended with results as expected and Djokovic and Murray winning their opening matches of Group A without much difficulty.

Tuesday today on the Day-2 of the championship, world no.2 Swiss Roger Federer takes on world no.9 Serbian Janko Tipsarevic in the first match of the Group B.

Federer first met Tipsarevic in the 2006 Davis Cup match and has since met Tipsarevic in four more matches - each time finding no difficulty in over powering the Serbian.

Bu one should not be over confident as we have recently seen many a stunning upsets by players way behind the top seeded players charging and winning.

While Federer has lost tow of his last ten matches (against Murray at Shanghai and Del Potro at Basel), Tipsarevic has lost many matches - five if I count. He recently lost to Janowicz at Paris Masters and has joined the World Tour Finals in the absence of knee-injured Nadal.

Would Tipsarevic be able to take advantage of the opportunity given to him by Nadal's absence and make headlines?

Like Nadal, Djokovic too falls prey to Blue Clay at Madrid

Like Rafael Nadal, who was ousted by fellow countryman, Novak Djokovic also fell prey to fellow Serb Janko Tipsarevic 7-6, 6-3 in the Madrid quarterfinals on Friday. But more than the match the World Number One blamed the blue clay for his defeat as did Nadal.  

Tipsarevic now faces Roger Federer in the semifinal.

Djokovic and Nadal have threatened not to return next year unless the traditional red courts are reinstated. Tournament organizers have blamed the slick surface on excessive pressing that prevents the clay from penetrating the hard base.
