Liverpool vs Chelsea: Match of the Day | Watch Free Live Streaming - 27 April

It is going to be a big day at Anfield Sunday today when the two top English Premier League teams – Red and Blue clash for the love of great football and Premier League title run.

Liverpool sits atop the points table with 80 points, closely followed by Chelsea with 75 points at the second position. When the two meet today, Liverpool will be looking to get one hand on the title. And if the Reds win, they will be eight points clear of the Blues with only two more fixtures to take in.

But even if the Reds end up in a draw against the Blues, they still take the title. Though this is not what the Red would desire at this stage of the Premier League matches – they would certainly like to win with margin and take the title with head high, rather than being equated today by the Blues.

So don not miss out the great match between the two great teams being played at Anfield on Sunday 27 April at 13:00 GMT

Chelsea vs Liverpool FC: English Barclays Premier League | Watch Free Live Streaming - 29 December 2013

When Chelsea meet Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge Sunday afternoon today, Rodgers' men should be aiming to maintain title pace - and keep the Blues away from any threat to their number two position on the points table.

Presently Liverpool with 38 points at number two position is directly threatened by Chelsea which is two points behind at number three position.

In fact the visitors are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Boxing Day, while Jose Mourinho will be without Ramires as the midfielder is serving a suspension.

But the fact is that FIVE players, including captain Steven Gerrard, will miss Liverpool’s Premier League Clash at Chelsea - this has been confirmed by Brendan Rodgers for their last game of 2013 against the Blues today.

Although the Blues have won 15 of the last 17 games at the Bridge, they have not beaten Liverpool in the Premier League for more than three-and-a-half years. It would require greater efficiency - especially in front of goal and away from home - to emulate the success of that season, but let us not yet rule it out.

The English Barclays Premier League match is scheduled to be played between Chelsea - Liverpool on Sunday, 29 Dec, 2013, kick-off 16:00 GMT at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City v Liverpool: English Barclays Premier League | Watch Free Live Streaming - 26 December 2013

On Boxing Day, Manchester City is all set to test Liverpool's top of the table position when the both teams meet at Etihad Stadium Thursday evening today.

It may be added that Manchester City and Liverpool are the two top-scoring teams in the league, far ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea, and – excepting Everton – the two in the best recent form.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is to retain his place for the Boxing Day clash with Liverpool after making a first Premier League start in almost two months at Fulham. While Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan picked up a slight hamstring problem in Saturday's victory over Cardiff and could be a doubt for the Boxing Day trip to Manchester.

As for the head-to-head status, six of the last nine Premier League matches between Liverpool and Manchester City have been draws (Two City wins, one Liverpool, all 3-0 at home). Manchester City have failed to score in their last two Premier League games played on December 26 (0-0 with WBA in 2011 and 0-1 v Sunderland last year).

Manchester City are the only team in the Premier League this season yet to drop a point at home (P8 W8 D0 L0). They have also scored in each of their last 58 Premier League home games.

In the meanwhile, Second-placed Arsenal are at West Ham, while Chelsea, who are fourth, host Swansea. Everton, in fifth, entertain Sunderland, while Manchester United travel to Hull.

The English Barclays Premier League match is scheduled to be played between Manchester City - Liverpool  on Thursday, 26 Dec, 2013, kick-off 17:30 GMT at Emirates Stadium.

Luis Suarez 'allowed' to talk to Arsenal

Luis Suarez 'allowed' to talk to Arsenal

Liverpool has allowed its striker Luis Suarez to hold talks with Arsenal after £40m bid.

However, it has also been made clear that Liverpool have no intention of selling their striker until his £50m-plus valuation is met.

Earlier, Arsenal's club-record bid of £40m plus £1 was firmly rejected by Liverpool but Suarez now wants to hold talks with the north London club.

While Liverpool remain determined to keep Suarez, who scored 30 goals for the club in 44 appearances last season, their resolve is likely to be tested if the bids continue to rise. Should Arsenal persist and have an improved bid accepted, it would more than double their previous highest initial outlay on a transfer.

Rasie offer for Blackpool winger Tom Ince: Liverpool told

It has been reported that Liverpool has been told to raise their offer for Blackpool winger Tom Ince after the Championship club snubbed the Reds' initial approach for the England Under-21 winger.

Ince left Anfield to join Blackpool last year in a £250,000 deal, but his rapid development since then has convinced Reds boss Brendan Rodgers to make the 20-year-old one of his key targets for the January transfer window.

Ince has scored 13 goals in 21 league games this season after leading Blackpool to within touching distance of the Premier League last term, when they were beaten by West Ham in the Championship play-off final.

However, Blackpool are determined not to let the son of former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince leave on the cheap.

Chelsea vs Liverpool - Blue and Red shake hands: Watch Live Free Streaming | Premier League - 11 November

Chelsea from almost top of the world placed at the second position, meet the 12th placed Liverpool from the opposite end of the table position Sunday afternoon today.

The Blue and Red shake hand in the backdrop of the Reds dominance over the Reds in nine of the 11 encounters. But wasn't that a long time ago?

The Liverpool today is in shambles as it has not won any game against the toppers of the Premier League. And what is more: the Reds 'demonstarted' 88-off target shots, which is the highest in the Premier League.

Today's encounter for which Liverpool visits Stamford Bridge, will be important for the both teams: The Reds trying to improve their standing on the points table while the Blues trying their best not to have any slips and maintain their position - but for that they will have to be watchful for Suarez this afternoon. If he is overpowered, Reds should not hope for a win.

Historic Quarterfianl Reach by Swansea by knocking off Liverpool out of Capital One Cup

Wednesday was a unique day. While the hot favourite world no.2 Novak Djokovic was knocked out of the Paris Masters by 23rd ranked American Sam Querrey right in the second round, Swansea knocked out Liverpool from the Capital One Cup and qualified for the quarterfinal.

For Swansea, the 3-1 victory over Liverpool is a big victory as it takes them to the Capital One Quarterfinal for the first time in their history.

Swansea's Chico was the first to goal in 34th minutes, followed by another one by Dyer in 72nd minutes. Suarez from Liverpool though struck the lonely goal from Liverpool in the 76th minute, Liverpool could not save its defeat as De Guzman from Swansea scored the third and final goal in 90th minute to seal the fate of the Liverpool, knocking them out of the Capital One Cup.

-->
Liverpool was really humiliated as the Swansea attackers did not let them allow them to gather a strong move and charge on to the Swansea goalpost.

The aggressive Swansea kept the ball and the game in their possession for 58% of the time and did not allow the Liverpool to have any dominating moves.

Swansea will Middlesbrough in the quarters.

Everton vs Liverpool: Watch Live Free Streaming | English Premier League - 28 October

Away from tennis at Basel and Istanbul, let us also keep playing and watching football, which is going on with much fanfare in preparation for the UEFA Championship 2013 and English Premier League.

Sunday today, Everton meet Liverpool in the English Premier League at Merseyside derby, Goodison Park.

Ahead of the match, however, Everton's boss David Moyes has warned that players who dive will drive fans away from football. His comments come as Moyes feel that his side has been 'badly done' by a terrible refereeing decision.

Whatever the grievances, the match Sunday afternoon is going to be between two bitter English rivals. ANd it is going to be an action packed drama both for the players isndie the field and fans swarming the stands around the arena waving and shouting to boost their team morale and blocke other side from doing the same for their team.

Who will win? Well with both Everton and Liverpool in action ranked 4th and 12th, the prediction is still hard to make. Liverpool have averaged 58.3% possession thus far with a passing accuracy of 85.6%, while Everton have averaged only 50.8% thus far with a passing accuracy of only 80.9%. But Everton have produced the joint-highest number (19.6 per game) of shots on goal, which says a lot about how incisive and direct Everton have been. In many ways, these two teams are the ideal opposition for each other.

We wait and watch the match as it begins 13:30 GMT, Sunday 28 October - there is going to be a wonderful Merseyside derby for the fun and excitement of us all.

In an exclusive interview on the subject, Harry is reported to have said:

Thank you all for coming in today. You've all been asked here because we feel you are the best prospects to succeed a club legend and bring Liverpool the success we demand. Before we continue, Mr. Berbatov, I realize you're leaving Manchester United, but you should know that we're not looking to hire a player-manager here.

Liverpool dismantles Chelsea hopes of top four

The match between Liverpool and Chelsea Tuesday night came just three days after the two fought to win the FA Cup title at Wembly - a match which Liverpool so much wanted to win to have their second cup of the year, after the Curling Cup. But the Blues did not help the Reds to realize their dream and clinched the Cup 2-1.

In a tit for tat revenge, Liverpool dismantled Chelsea's hopes to a top-four finish when the humiliated the reds 4-1 Tuesday night.

Those who witnessed the match would have seen a sloppy Chelsea throughout and fell behind when Michael Essien deflected Luis Suarez's cross into his own net.

Despite Chelsea dismal performance, Blues manager Roberto Di Matteo defended his team selection. It was he who had eight changes from the side which beat the Reds in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday and it showed as they were torn apart in the first half. But he had no regrets about the team he picked.

The Italian made eight changes from the side which beat the Reds in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday and it showed as they were torn apart in the first half. But he had no regrets about the team he picked.
"I thought Liverpool were the better side. They looked inspired and they scored at the right times as well," he said. "It wasn't the team selection. We have to give credit to them (Liverpool)."

Chelsea Beat Liverpool to Win its Fourth FA Cup

London's Wembley Stadium was jam packed Saturday as Chelsea and Liverpool entered the arena to play the coveted FA Cup Final.

Saturday's final was also important for the reason that it provided both Chelsea and Liverpool a distraction from miserable Premier League seasons, with both teams out of the top four Champions League qualification places.

When asked, a majority favoured the Red for the Cup  as Liverpool were everyone's favourite. But the Blues were to give everyone a big surprise as they scored the first goal to give a jolt to the Reds.

The first goal came in the 11th minutes by Ramires. And then in the 52nd, Drogba scored his eighth goal in eight games at Wembley. This gave a decisive upper edge to the Blues over the Reds.

Although, Liverpool substitute Andy Carroll scored in the 64th minute, but that was the last goal of the day and the Blues came out victorious in winning the FA Cup for the fourth time.

After winning the Curling Cup earlier in February, Liverpool was trying to win its second domestic trophy of the season - but Chelsea would not let them.

Now it is Chelsea who are vying for a bigger challenge when they play the Champions League final on 19 May against Bayern Munich. The win Saturday does give them more confidence and strength to win the second cup. However it remains to be seen whether the Blues can have the second trophy of the season or...

Chelsea v Liverpool: FA Cup Final - Watch Live 5 May 2012

Chelsea faces Liverpool in the FA Cup final Saturday in their first ever final duel at the FA Cup. Although they have met twice in the semi finals and the Reds winning on both occasions.

Blues are in their 11th final, having won six, while the Reds are playing their 14th FA Cup final with seven wins. So both have won almost equally, but Chelsea hold the upper hand with five wins to Liverpool’s four, and with 19 goals to Liverpool’s 15.

As for the players, Chelsea will be without David Luiz and Gary Cahill for the FA Cup final against Liverpool. The Reds on the other hand would make sure they bring in their best as Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Jose Reina, Craig Bellamy and Daniel Agger were all rested for the midweek defeat to Fulham.

A win for the Reds Saturday will make them the fourth team to win the League Cup and FA Cup in the same season and the first to achieve that feat twice - Liverpool won the Curling Cup this year. Arsenal were the first, in 1993 and Liverpool did the double in 2001. The last team to achieve that was opponents Chelsea, in 2007.

What will it be on Saturday? - well both teams are well geared up for the final and fully charged. But obviously the Reds are favourites.....

The match is scheduled for Saturday 5th May at the Wembley Stadium. The Kick-Off is at 17.15 BST .
