Manchester United vs Sunderland: Watch Live Free Streaming | Premier League - 30 March

We are aback to English Premier League matches and Saturday today, Manchester United with 74 points sitting on top of the points table takes on Sunderland sitting at 15th place with 31 points at Stadium of Light.

Although Sunderland stand no chance against the Red Devils, Sunderland hope Sir Alex Ferguson will field a 'weakened' side for a fixture scheduled only 48 hours before United's FA Cup quarter-final replay against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Well that is something only time will tell or Sir Alex himself. But we also know that The Black Cats are having a terrible time - facing up to the loss of their skipper and star striker and a home game against Manchester United all in the space of a few days and such expectations seem 'justified.'

As for the fact sheet, Sunderland have won just one of their previous 23 Premier League games against Manchester United, losing 17. The Black Cats have collected only three points (D3 L4) in their last seven Premier League matches.

Interestingly, Manchester United are Sunderland’s least favourite opponents in the Premier League, with the Black Cats’ win percentage (4.4%) their lowest against any side in the competition.

Manchester United have won 47 of a possible 51 points in their last 17 Premier League games (W15 D2) and are hot  favourites for the match Saturday afternoon.

The match is schedule for 30 March, Saturday at 12:45 GMT at the Stadium of Light.

The Day of Dual Goals at Premier League Today

The Barclays Premier League was full of action as in all there were seven matches that were played Saturday today. In three of the seven matches played Saturday, 19 January today, two goals each were scored by single players.

The results of these seven matches are as under:
Liverpool v Norwich: 5-0
The most exciting and aggressive games was played by the Liverpool which scored five goals and kept the Norwich ducked down for the entire play of the game, giving them no chance to break shelter and score even a single goal.

Man City v Fullham : 2-0
David Silva* was the man for the Citizens today  who struck twice against the Fullham to lead the 2-0 victory for Citizens. The goals were scored in 2nd and 69th minute.

Newcastle v Reading 1-2
The Royals prevailed upon the Newcastle with their 2-1 victory. Although Newcastle scored in the first half and let it be so till the 71th minute in the second half, it were the two late goals in the 71st and 77th minutes be Le Fondre* which led to the victory of the Royals.

-->

The Swans were sailing and flying with better pride today and opened their account in the 49th minute of the second half with a goal by Daives. Thereafter De Guzman* scored two consecutive goals in the 57th and 80th minutes. However, Owen's last minute goal in the 90th minute proved a much needed face saver for the Stokes.

Westham v QPR: 1-1
The QPR sitting at the rock bottom of the points table were in mood and dorm and did not want to end the match being loser. And it was Remy from QPR who scored the first goal of the match in the 14th minute. The match could have been a winner for the QPR but for the goal by Cole from the West Ham in 68th minute that ruined QPR's dream of winning the match. However, Remy  scored a goal to mark his arrival at QPR and make a place for himself right away.

Wigan v Sunderland: 2-3
Wigan started the match with an early goal by Vaughn in the fourth minute which was equalized by Gardener in the 17th minute. Thereafter Fletcher form Sunderland struck twice in 20th and 42nd minute to take the score to 3-1. However, it was Henriquez who scored yet another goal for Wigan to end the game with a 3-2 victory for the Sunderland.

Everton vs Liverpool: Watch Live Free Streaming | English Premier League - 28 October

Away from tennis at Basel and Istanbul, let us also keep playing and watching football, which is going on with much fanfare in preparation for the UEFA Championship 2013 and English Premier League.

Sunday today, Everton meet Liverpool in the English Premier League at Merseyside derby, Goodison Park.

Ahead of the match, however, Everton's boss David Moyes has warned that players who dive will drive fans away from football. His comments come as Moyes feel that his side has been 'badly done' by a terrible refereeing decision.

Whatever the grievances, the match Sunday afternoon is going to be between two bitter English rivals. ANd it is going to be an action packed drama both for the players isndie the field and fans swarming the stands around the arena waving and shouting to boost their team morale and blocke other side from doing the same for their team.

Who will win? Well with both Everton and Liverpool in action ranked 4th and 12th, the prediction is still hard to make. Liverpool have averaged 58.3% possession thus far with a passing accuracy of 85.6%, while Everton have averaged only 50.8% thus far with a passing accuracy of only 80.9%. But Everton have produced the joint-highest number (19.6 per game) of shots on goal, which says a lot about how incisive and direct Everton have been. In many ways, these two teams are the ideal opposition for each other.

We wait and watch the match as it begins 13:30 GMT, Sunday 28 October - there is going to be a wonderful Merseyside derby for the fun and excitement of us all.

Manchester City eye Premier League victory with 2-1 win over United

It is finally over - the much talked about the Battle of Manchesters or the Manchester Derby came to an end Monday night at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.

Manchester City took a huge step towards the Premier League title as they beat bitter city rivals Manchester United 1-0 on Monday with a first-half goal by Vincent Kompany.

Vincent Kompany’s powerful header sealed a 1-0 win for Manchester City over title rivals Manchester United on Monday to put Roberto Mancini’s side within two victories of Premier League glory.

The Belgian defender rose unmarked just before halftime at the Etihad Stadium to settle a compelling and frantic derby that lacked quality but more than made up for that in tension.

United could not respond as City moved above their neighbours on goal difference with a match at Newcastle United and a home game with strugglers Queen Park Rangers to come.

Both sides have 83 points, with City having a superior goal difference of eight, and the momentum is now with Roberto Mancini’s side who have clawed back an eight-point deficit since Easter to move within sight of their first English title since 1968.

Premier League: Chelsea beat QPR 6 - 1

BOSS Roberto di Matteo admitted even he was stunned by Chelsea’s ruthless display against QPR after their European exertions in midweek.
Just five days after sealing a spot in the Champions League Final with an amazing comeback at Barcelona, the Blues battered QPR to boost their bid to qualify for next season’s tournament.
It moved them within a point of a top-four spot in the Premier League ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Newcastle.
Daniel Sturridge got the Blues off to the perfect start with a goal in 45 seconds and Nou Camp sinner John Terry made it 2-0 with a 13th-minute header.
Fernando Torres then followed up his heroics in Spain with a hat-trick before Florent Malouda made it 6-0 and Djibril Cisse fired a late reply for the Rs.

Di Matt: Confidence key for Chelsea

Roberto Di Matteo says Chelsea's sky-high confidence could be the decisive factor in the race for Champions League qualification.

Di Matteo's team finished a memorable week that started with an epic Champions League semi-final triumph over Barcelona by demolishing west London Premier League rivals QPR 6-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Blues would qualify for next season's Champions League if they beat Bayern Munich at the German club's Allianz Arena on May 19, but interim boss Di Matteo doesn't want to rely on that and is determined to keep his players focused on the top four battle in the English Premier League.
Chelsea are one point behind both fourth-placed Tottenham - who scored a crucial 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Blackburn Rovers on Sunday - and fifth-placed Newcastle, who visit the Bridge on Wednesday. Di Matteo believes his players are in the mood to snatch the last guaranteed spot in Europe's elite club competition.

Aston Villa v Bolton Wanderers: Massive Clash - Watch Free Live Streaming

Tonight, Tuesday 24 April, 2012, Aston Villa are meeting Bolton Wanderers - a match that is described as 'Massive' by Owen Coyle, Bolton's manager.

Coyle makes this ststement when his side is in the drop zone. But with two games in hand, their Premier League future remains in their own destiny. Six points from six would see the Wanderers go level on points with Aston Villa and out of the drop zone.

As for the Aston Villa, a victory against the Wanderers may not be difficult as they have lost only to Bolton twice in the Premier League and only three times in total since 1955. Bolton's last success came in the Carling Cup this season when they turned Villa over 2-0 in front of their own fans. Villa though gained revenge in the league when they beat Bolton at the Reebok 2-1.

So with these odds and evens, aspirations and claims, the match gets played and we will se e who gets out of the danger zone and how. In fact neither side will want to lose - but moer than the Villa, the Wanderers need to win to survive.

Who will come out on top? Do I hear home side?

English Premier League: Manchester United vs Everton FC - Free Live Streaming

First ranked Manchester United meets 7th ranked Everton Sunday.

Manchester United with 82 points and a 26W-4D-4L record with 82 goals scored is heavy weight for Everton FC which has colected 33 points so far with 13W-8D-12L record, scoring only 38 goals for and 34 against.

The last time both teams met was on 29 October 2011, when the lone goal was scored by Man United.

Sunday's trip to Old Trafford will see the Blues return to action for the first time since last weekend's FA Cup semi final defeat to local rivals Liverpool, where they were undone by two late goals.

Although heavily outnumbered, Everton FC midfielder Darron Gibson wants to show Manchester United what they have been missing on Sunday when he makes his return to Old Trafford on Sunday.

It may be recalled that Gibson left the Red Devils in a £500,000 January Goodison switch, and has quickly become one of David Moyes’ best performers as the Blues progresses in the Premier League.

For Man United, a win could take them eight points clear of City and give them even more chance of clinching the title on their rivals' home turf.

Possible Line-Ups:

Manchester United
Keeper: De Gea
Defenders: Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Fabio
Midfielders: Anderson, Park, Carrick, Nani
Forwarders: Rooney, Hernandez
Manager: Sir Alex Fergusson

Everton FC

Defenders: Coleman, Heitinga, Distin, Neville
Midfielders: Gibson, Cahill, Osman, Fellaini

Chelsea top four bid stalls in Arsenal draw

Chelsea failed in their efforts to break into the top four before they head out to face Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final after Roberto Di Matteo's side played out a 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium here Saturday.

Robin Van Persie shoots wide for Arsenal against Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday. The teams drew 0-0 after Van Persie was unable to break the deadlock with two late opportunities. A solitary point for Arsene Wenger's side, meanwhile, meant the Gunners missed out on the opportunity to tighten their grip on third place.

Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie - who denied before the game he had met with Barcelona officials to discuss a possible transfer - was unable to break the deadlock with two late opportunities.

Chelsea, though, can take heart from a resolute defensive display that they must repeat next week of they are to protect their slender 1-0 first leg lead and progress into the Champions League final. And the draw means they have lost just once in 14 games since Di Matteo took temporary charge of the side.

Manchester United v Aston Villa: Premier League Free Live Streaming

For the duel between Manchester United and Aston Villa Sunday afternoon, the news is that Sir Alex Ferguson intends to recall Paul Scholes to his starting line-up. It may be added that Scholes was rested for Wednesday's defeat at Wigan, which saw United's lead at the top cut to five points. And by the time United face Villa, their advantage at the top of the Premier League could be cut to two points.

As for the Aston Ville, the fitness of Chris Herd and Stephen Warnock ahead of Sunday's trip to Old Trafford remains to be ascertained. Herd suffered a head injury during Monday's 1-1 draw with Stoke while Warnock was substituted with an ankle problem.

The equation between United and Ville is interesting:
United have failed to win four times against Villa in the last four seasons in the Premier League. However, United have won all nine Premier League games that Paul Scholes has started this season - thus Scholes should be on his feet today to ensure a win a for his team. Of late, despite defeat at Wigan, United have the fifth best points total after 33 games of a Premier League season.
Old Trafford for Ville is not friendly as out of their 26 league matches, they have lost 25. But this season, Villa have picked up more points on the road this season (18) than last season (17). Villa have also taken maximum points in just one of their last 10 league matches (D5 L4).
Venue for Sunday's encounter is Old Trafford
Kick off time is scheduled at 16:00 BST | 15:00 GMT

Blackburn Rovers vs Swansea City: Watch Free Live Streaming 14 April 2012

Today there is yet another interesting match up - Rovers are heading to Liberty Stadium to face the Swansea City. Though out of form, Swansea City are the favourites.

The Rovers need to win the match lest they are dropped out of the race. But Rovers too are out of form and not in a winning setup for quite sometime now - having lost all four of the recent matches. They are presently at 19th standing - a full three points off survival. With just five matches remaining, the Rovers will have to get into aggressive shoes and kick harder for goals to win over the Swansea City, Saturday at Wales.

As for the Swans, ranked 14th are just one point short of the 40-point mark. Like the Rovers, they too have lost all of their four matches - perhaps the worst run of the season.

While the two sides are equally out of form, Swansea have no fresh injury concerns with both Kemy Agustien and Ferrie Bodde out for the season. Rovers are still without Michel Salgado and Vinnie Grella through injury, while striker Anthony Modeste is suspended.

So it remains to be seen who gets who at Liberty Stadium. The Match Kicks off at 15: 00 BST / 14:00 GMT.

Norwich City V Manchester City: Watch Live Online [English Premier League]

When giants are embattled, no one notices others sneaking by and making their way. This is exactly what Norwich City is doing - quietly making inroads and collecting valuable points. And the come up to face the Citizens this evening.

Well the Citizens are the hot favourites being the top scoring team in the Premier League this season with 79 goals - only three sides in Premier League history have scored more after 33 games. Morever, the Citizens are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Norwich in all competitions, winning four.

As for the Canaries, they have kept just two clean sheets so far this season: only one team (West Brom last season) has ever had fewer after 33 PL games. In the last seven matches played, they have won two, lost one and four draws.

And what about the citizens? They have won only two of their last ten matches, lost FIVE and four draws. But despite this dismal performance, the Citizens are favourite for this evening. Though Roberto Mancini thniks duel with Canaries a bit tough as they, Citizens, haven't had enough recovery time after their match with West Borm.

Premier League LIVE: Arsenal v Manchester City

Here we are to witness one of the important match of the Premiere League between the two football giants, Arsenal vs Man City, Sunday afternoon. The match would surely provide the last interesting and must-watch event of the fading weekend.

A win in today's match is important for the Gunners since it would give them an edge over the Hotspurs. On the contrary, a win by the Citizens will provide them to close the gap to the Man United at the table top. Moreover, both sides desperately need all three points: Manchester City need to keep their title hopes alive and continue to pressure Manchester United, while Arsenal must regain third place and capitalize on Spurs' draw with Sunderland

As for the fitness state of the two teams, there are no fresh injury reports from the Gunners, while Manchester City are hopeful striker Sergio Agüero will be fit for Sunday's duel with the Gunners.

One thing more: Manchester City have not won at Arsenal in the league for more than 36 years since October 1975.
